A TRIBUTE TO THE COURAGEOUS

As the year is coming to an end, I’m taking time to reflect about the teachings gained, the lessons learned, the milestones accomplished and the magic that has unfolded in 2017. My newsletter has gone quiet this year as I’ve gone through major transition in my business and personal life that has caused me to look more in than express outwards.

I’m planning on this to change next year. I hope you will stay tuned to see what unfolds.

But for now, as I contemplate on my own transformation this year, immense gratitude arises for the more than 30 executives, leaders, entrepreneurs and light-walkers that I have coached and worked with this year. And I want to take the time to honor these people that have entrusted me with their inner life, dreams and struggles.

They are an inspiration not just to me, but to all of us.

I cannot share all names due to confidentiality. But their name and titles do not matter, what matters is the courage they display. Because regardless of where you are in your life, who you are or where you want to go, true personal transformation is not easy, it is not for the faint-hearted. It is for the brave and courageous. So here goes a tribute to:

P, a leader, who has the courage to question the status quo of business, and who despite high pressure in a busy organization and being a father still take the needed time for reflections and new action. Whose desire to be a conscious leader slowly trumps the fear of standing in his truth.

M, the employee turned entrepreneur, who faced her fears and limited convictions about herself and stepped into the path of her purpose to became a coach this year. And who is now walking her path so powerfully.

E, the leader who professed his disagreement with the existence of a ’loving intelligent universe’, but who remained open and curious to new ways of thinking.

C, a light walker and entrepreneur who perseveres in bringing her gift to the world despite her fears, and who has doubled her income this year only by stepping into her authentic power.

J, a courageous woman who ventured into the path of her powerful truth, and ended up quitting her job and pursue her dreams of traveling. Despite fear of lack of security.

B, a leader who finally put her foot down and said no to working at a company that doesn’t live up to its values. And who has gained the trust in herself to stand stronger in her truth.

F, an adventurer who broke out of the mould to walk the powerful path of her soul – and who has stayed true to herself and on course despite the turbulence and head-turning it has brought about.

Let all these, the ones I didn’t mention, and many more people remind us about the potential we all hold. That we all face fears that seem overwhelming from our individual vantage point. That the biggest obstacles are within ourselves. And that we all have the power to become who we want to be and accomplish things we didn’t dream of possible. What potential does 2018 hold for you to unfold?
